You’ll work closely with lawyers across all practice groups and levels, contributing directly to the firm’s knowledge strategy and supporting our legal teams with cutting-edge tools and resources. The Knowledge Paralegal reports to the Knowledge and Information Manager, APAC and is a representative of the Team for our internal legal teams across Australia. The Role As a Knowledge & Information Paralegal, you will: Support the transformation and innovation of knowledge management initiatives. Assist in developing and maintaining standards, methods, and resources to ensure consistent, high-quality knowledge sharing. Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support our lawyers. Draft, manage, and update know-how documents, templates, and precedents. Maintain and enhance our cloud-based knowledge database. Curate and publish our current awareness newsletter, keeping the team up to date with legal developments. Monitor and review new and updated laws and regulations. Assist with the maintenance of the law library and legal resources. Collaborate on ad hoc projects, including document automation and legal technology initiatives. Troubleshoot research queries and support best practice case research. What We’re Looking For Currently studying law (or recently completed a law degree). Strong legal research and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. High attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks. Confident, proactive, and eager to learn. Advanced MS Office skills (especially Word and Outlook); experience with legal databases is an advantage. Interest in legal technology and innovation. Knowledge of the insurance legal industry is a plus, but not essential.
