  • Administer, maintain, and review financial, administrative, and human resource policies and procedures, with a particular focus on payroll functions. This includes reconciling workforce reporting, managing end-to-end payroll processes, and processing payments to ensure the effective operation of the Service Area. * Oversee financial processes such as procurement, ordering, payment of accounts, and monthly monitoring and reconciliation, ensuring compliance with current legislative and departmental accounting practices. * Manage human resource processes, including rostering, leave processing, and fortnightly and monthly monitoring and reconciliation, in line with legislative and departmental human resource standards. * Utilise advanced skills in a variety of software packages and databases to support the administration of services provided by the Service Area. * Investigate and resolve financial and human resource enquiries promptly and accurately, ensuring effective solutions are achieved. * Foster effective teamwork by understanding the roles and responsibilities of other team members and working collaboratively to deliver high-quality services to the Service Area. * Liaise with departmental officers and other government and non-government organisations as required to support service delivery. * Actively promote and practice excellence in service delivery and public administration, identifying opportunities to enhance client services and improve community outcomes. * Contribute to the AS Governance Structure by supporting quality outcomes for clients through the delivery of high-standard services and continuous improvement initiatives. * Rostering experience desirable.
