The Opportunity As a Systems Administrator, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving IT infrastructure and core business systems, both on-premise and in the cloud (AWS). You’ll work closely with the Group IT Manager, Systems Engineer, and Service Desk Team to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing technology services across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on IT professional looking to broaden their technical exposure and contribute to the delivery of impactful, enterprise-grade IT solutions. Note, this position is full-time in the office. What You’ll Do Support and maintain key infrastructure platforms (on-premise and AWS Cloud) and business applications. Investigate and resolve technical issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing remediation plans. Plan and manage infrastructure and software upgrades, updates, and patches. Administer licensing, renewals, and software inventory to ensure compliance and service continuity. Monitor system uptime, performance, capacity, and disaster recovery readiness. Maintain accurate documentation, including procedures, “How To” guides, and user training materials. Provide escalation support to the Service Desk and manage vendor relationships for support delivery. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and service delivery. What You’ll Bring Solid experience in Systems Administration. Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, AWS cloud services, and modern device management (Intune, Autopilot, Config Manager) . Exposure to Linux environments (advantageous but not essential). Experience with ITIL processes (certification desirable). Microsoft or AWS certification preferred. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong troubleshooting ability and a collaborative, customer-first mindset.
