We’re looking for a Bar Manager to lead and grow our bar team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll take ownership of bar operations, drive team performance, and ensure guests receive top-tier service every time. You’ll be managing a core team of 5 staff plus casuals, and collaborating closely with other departments to maintain a seamless guest experience. Key Responsibilities Lead, train, and motivate the bar team to deliver exceptional service Manage rosters, wages, and staffing levels to align with budget and trade Oversee bar operations including stock control, ordering, cleanliness and presentation Support and participate in promotions, events, and internal sales competitions Ensure compliance with all liquor licensing, RSA and health & safety regulations Maintain high service standards, with a focus on achieving 4.9 Google reviews Jump in to assist other departments when required – we work as one team What We’re Looking For Proven experience in bar or hospitality management Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment A fun, engaging personality with a hands-on approach Basic cocktail and mixology knowledge Strong customer service focus and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences Experience with training and developing junior staff is highly regarded Flexibility to work across a 5-day rotating roster, including evenings and weekends
