The Role We currently have an opportunity for a warehouse & forklift operator to join our Logistics team, on a permanent full-time basis. This role is based on the Day Shift working Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:06pm Key responsibilities of the role: Safe operation of the forklift Issuing and returning raw materials from Production Lines Printing SSCC labels and putting away finished product Accepting deliveries, receipting, unpacking, sorting & checking goods received for quality, quantity, type, or size, securing proof of deliveries Maintain good housekeeping and a clean work area in your assigned work area Perform all work in accordance with specifications, instructions, and requirements Ensure compliance to relevant company policies/standards/procedures Perform all activities in compliance with the company’s relevant OH&S policies and procedures – safety first culture Other duties as directed by the logistics manager and supervisor The successful candidate will have the following: Current driving and forklift license (LF) Experience in loading and unloading trucks Prior counterbalance forklift experience RF scanning experience Good computer skills Experience in a fast-paced environment The ability to work autonomously, with a pro-active and positive approach Good communication skills A team player, willing to ‘pitch in’ and work with the team Reliable, with a healthy work ethic, and previously worked night shift an advantage We are seeking individuals who not only have the required skill set and experience, but who are driven, focused and committed to doing a great job, whilst ensuring safety is a top priority in everything we do.
