We're looking for an experienced and hands-on Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our dynamic Products - Warehouse team. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role within a fast-paced, high-performing environment. You'll oversee a team of 26 skilled and motivated team members, supporting day-to-day operations across receiving, dispatch, inventory control, freight coordination, and compliance. This isn't a desk-based management role - it's an on-the-floor leadership position for someone who leads by example and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves. About the Role Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory management. Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 26 to achieve safety, quality, and productivity objectives. Coordinate with freight providers and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve logistical challenges. Take a hands-on approach by actively participating in warehouse activities, including forklift operation and manual handling. Maintain warehouse organisation, cleanliness, and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Utilise ERP and warehouse management systems to accurately track orders, inventory, and workflow. Monitor KPIs such as pick accuracy, order fulfilment, and turnaround time, providing insights for performance improvement and team development, while maintaining flexibility to work varied shifts and travel interstate when required. About You You're a motivated, organised, and safety-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You bring a strong people focus, a proactive attitude, and the ability to balance leadership with hands-on work. What You'll Bring 3-5 years' experience in a warehouse leadership or supervisory role. Proven experience leading and motivating medium-sized teams (20 staff). Current forklift licence or willingness to obtain one. Strong understanding of warehouse systems, ERP platforms, and stock control processes. Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
