Their Victorian Infrastructure business have multiple projects ranging in value & complexity up to $200m and they are now seeking a Site & Project Engineer with strong road construction experience to join their team on a major MRPV Road project. Role As a Site or Project Engineer you will provide high quality and innovative engineering services, contract management and project programming to the Project team. Responsibilities include. Coordinate with Managers and Superintendents on Engineering, temporary works, scheduling and status of the project. Provide general technical assistance to supervisory personnel. Coordinate resources including manpower and monitor progress, evaluate results and recommend changes in specifications or plans as appropriate. Monitor progress ensuring that work quality and techniques are of a high standard and report regularly on progress and findings. Prepare reports on progress, manpower and costs and coordinate the work scheduling and procurement. Ensure that the budgetary targets set for each trade package are met or exceeded. Undertake and assist in cost controlling, estimating, budgeting, forecasting, sub-contract claim review and commercial negotiation activities. Background To be considered for this role you will have: Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering Specialist experience in project engineering and a working knowledge of project management Strong technical knowledge and understanding. High level of communication, written and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated experience in effective supervision, monitoring of sub-contractors and other trades.
