Reporting to our Group Accounting Manager, this pivotal role ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across corporate accounting services, regulatory and statutory reporting, and financial risk management. You’ll play a vital part in ensuring the company meets all legal and compliance obligations, while supporting strong forecasting and insightful reporting to drive performance. Your main duties will include, but not be limited to; Coordinating month-end close for the Group, ensuring accurate and compliant financial statements. Managing and validating complex journals (e.g., intercompany consolidations, FX revaluations, lease accounting). Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and escalating issues where required. Assisting in preparing statutory financial statements and technical accounting papers. Supporting audit processes and liaising with external auditors. Providing corporate accounting inputs into Group budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reporting. Partnering with FP&A on P&L budgeting assumptions. Driving process improvements to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of reporting. Acting as a key point of contact for the offshore service delivery centre on accounting processes. The Person To be successful in this role, you’ll be a technically strong and detail-driven accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You balance accuracy with commercial thinking and enjoy collaborating across teams to deliver results. What you’ll bring: Relevant qualifications in Finance or Accounting. 3 years’ experience in a complex corporate environment, ideally FMCG. Strong financial acumen with Group Finance, audit, or statutory reporting exposure. Advanced Excel skills and ability to adapt quickly to business systems. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience working with auditors and statutory reporting requirements. Analytical mindset and methodical problem-solving ability.
