A newly created opportunity is now available for a seasoned Salesperson, who isn't shy about picking up the phone and calling both warm and cold leads, and who is passionate about safety and being able to provide the right products for the right purpose. To be successful in this role, you will need to be highly motivated, be skilled in "Solution Based Selling" and be able to provide demonstrated results of your sales success in a similar role. Industry knowledge in either Safety Equipment, Construction, Mining, Manufacturing or similar, where you have had exposure to these products and are familiar with the required sales and procurement processes in this industry, is highly desirable. In return you will receive a competitive base salary & the opportunity to earn more through uncapped commissions. What’s great about this role: Be well rewarded with an excellent base salary plus generous bonuses Well established Family business, who value their staff Employee career progression opportunities on offer Positive culture, high values and a vibrant business Snapshot of Duties: Identify business opportunities, handle new sales calls & develop a sales pipeline Action customer requests and enquiries over the phone and via email Make outbound calls to actively seek out new sales opportunities Follow up client quotations and repeat orders requirements Review customer service retention reports & contact dormant accounts Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth Identify new market opportunities and monitor industry trends, competitors and product innovations Participate in training provided by suppliers and management to enhance your product knowledge Provide problem solving and “solution sales” to customers Manage relationships with an existing network of customers General customer service support and admin tasks Skills and Experience: Minimum 2 years in an Internal sales/account management role Strong B2B sales skills, with the ability to build & foster long-term relationships Industry experience in either safety, manufacturing, construction or similar, where the use of these products is paramount A proven track record in meeting and exceeding company targets & KPI’s Pride yourself on having the highest level of customer service Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal High level of Computer literacy including MS Office & internal CRM systems Self-motivated, enthusiastic "can-do" attitude You’re solution focused, organised and proactive Nothing is too much trouble for you Professional manner and the ability to use your initiative Excellent time management & organizational skills This position is not suitable to candidates who do not have permanent AU working rights.
