You've got a solid 3-5 years of experience as either an electrical, mechanical or building services engineer for someone like WSP or Aecom and you feel like it's time for a change. You feel ready for a step up to a PM role. You know within the Pm Consultancy space the glass ceiling is higher and the salaries are better. With the right training and mentorship, you back yourself to learn quickly as you have a great work ethic and enjoy soaking up knowledge from others. Initially, you'd start on a large data centre project which is going through a major upgrade and refurb and your technical skills and knowledge are needed. With a flat management structure, you'd get lots of access to the owners and they like to promote staff from within meaning you'll see what your career progression looks like. In the long term you could help deliver high rise resi, senior living, capital work, health or commercial projects so you won't get bored here. Starting salary range is $100-$120k super range plus a yearly bonus paid at Christmas. If you have some consultancy experience behind you but want a better place to develop your skills then this is the role for you. What can you tell me about the company? With 10 years in operation, their team of 20 is led by 4 hands-on directors who have previously worked at the likes of Lend Lease, CPB and Multiplex so they know what they are talking about. Staff retention is ridiculously high and being relatively small, they are agile and can make quick decisions regarding you and the business. They do regular team bonding and events, a yearly conference away and feedback from staff is that they feel valued and listened to.
