About the Role We're looking for a Customer Service Officer to be the first point of contact for clients. You'll be the problem solver, organiser, and trusted support who ensures freight runs smoothly. From managing bookings to resolving issues, your focus will be on providing fast, accurate, and friendly service every time. What You'll Be Doing Answering customer enquiries via phone and email with professionalism and speed Processing bookings and consignments in Machship Tracking and tracing freight, keeping customers informed at all times Maintaining accurate records in HubSpot Liaising with carriers (TNT, StarTrack, etc.) to resolve service issues Spotting opportunities to improve service and save customers time or money Supporting the wider team with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset What We're Looking For Customer service experience in freight/logistics industry essential Tech confident - quick to pick up new systems (Machship and HubSpot experience highly regarded) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Calm under pressure and able to manage multiple priorities A proactive problem solver who enjoys helping people Why You'll Love It Here Contract during the peak season, with potential for permanency after January Growth opportunities in a values-driven, fast-scaling logistics business Daily use of smart systems ( Machship and HubSpot ) A supportive team culture where great work is recognised
