What does the job look like? Linfox’s Intermodal business unit have multiple casual opportunities for experienced HC Drivers join our team located in West Melbourne VIC. As part of this role, you will be responsible for delivering single container loads with a variety of freight from major customers. We currently have multiple casual opportunities available across day and afternoon shift, with shift times below: Day shift: Monday-Friday, commencing at 7:00am - 3:00pm potential overtime Afternoon shift: Monday-Friday, commencing at 3:30pm - 11:30pm potential overtime Key areas: Deliver containerised freight both locally and throughout the region. Daily prestart checks, including refuelling & maintaining truck interior. Ensure loads are restrained appropriately Occasional reach stacker operation to transport containers around the Linfox yard Communicate effectively with other drivers, supervisors & customers where needed. Comply with Linfox’s coupling & uncoupling procedures. Commit to Linfox Safety Standards at all times to ensure that Vision Zero is a daily focus. Are you the one? You can demonstrate: Current HC licence Experience delivering containerised freight throughout the Melbourne region and beyond Rail terminal experience would be highly regarded Strong attitude towards safety and customer satisfaction. History of safe work practices & excellent communication.
