Join us in shaping the future of education and be part of a school that truly values every child's potential About the Role As a Teacher Aide, your role involves supporting teachers and students in a range of school activities to contribute to a quality educational environment. You will assist in the preparation, organisation, and enhancement of learning materials and resources to support lesson delivery. The role includes helping students during classroom activities, providing individual or small group support, and promoting student engagement. You may also assist during excursions, sporting events, and playground supervision. Supporting students with diverse learning needs, including those requiring high-level care, is a key part of the role. Duties are performed under teacher direction and school policies. Responsibilities include Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Assisting in classrooms, on excursions and during sporting activities * Supporting students with diverse learning needs, including those requiring high-level care * Supervising and engaging students during lessons and playground activities * Promoting literacy and numeracy by working with individual students or small groups * Assist students with special needs, this may in certain circumstances extend to assisting with toileting or administration of medication * Assist in preparing, storing, making available and clearing away teaching equipment and materials * Other suitable duties, consistent with the duties & responsibilities of the position as directed by the supervisor Please refer to the attached role description for the full list of responsibilities and mandatory requirements for this position.
