The Role As a TAFE Teacher in the Adult Tertiary Preparation (ATP) team, you have the opportunity to influence the careers of future industry persons by sharing your extensive industry knowledge to students in a classroom or other educational setting. We have multiple casual teacher positions available in Term 4, 2025 and Term 1, 2026 to join our Adult Tertiary Preparation (ATP) team at TAFE Queensland's South Bank Campus. We are seeking educators to join our team and deliver across multiple subject areas including: * Academic Learning Skills (English) * Pure Mathematics * Physics * Chemistry * Biology * General Mathematics * Psychology * Legal Studies * Modern History * Ancient History * Environmental Studies This position reports to the Operations Manager. Salary The rate for a Casual Teacher is $113.16 per hour (weekdays), plus superannuation contributions of 12.75% of your salary. Benefits * Financial assistance towards relocation expenses may be available * Wellbeing initiatives and social responsibility programs * Access to Employee Assistance Program Mandatory Requirements Vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered and assessed; * Hold vocational competencies at or above the level being delivered and assessed, along with qualifications in relevant subject areas (listed above), equivalent to Certificate IV or higher. * Possession of one of the following training and assessment credentials: * TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor; or * TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or * TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or: * TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or its successor; or * TAE50111 or TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; or * TAE50211 or TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development; or * A secondary teaching qualification and one (1) of the following credentials: * TAESS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set or its successor; or * TAESS00011 or TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set or its successor; or * A higher-level qualification in adult or vocational education; and * Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided; * Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided; * Current evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment. * Current Queensland Driver's license. Note: Proof of qualifications and industry currency/experience to be provided at interview.
