About your role As an Administration Officer, you will play a key part in supporting the smooth delivery of addiction and mental health services. You'll work across both community and inpatient teams on a rotational roster, providing front-line reception services, coordinating appointments, and ensuring patient information is recorded accurately. Your responsibilities will include: * Providing reception and front-office support to patients, carers, and visitors. * Coordinating patient appointments, room bookings, and telehealth services. * Supporting patient flow by liaising with multidisciplinary teams. * Maintaining accurate records and completing required documentation in relevant systems. * Preparing documents, minutes, filing, mailing, and other general admin tasks. * Covering temporary staff absences across teams where required. About you You are a skilled administrator who enjoys helping people and keeping things running smoothly. You can work independently but thrive as part of a team in a busy environment. You will bring: * Strong front-line reception and administration skills, including keyboard proficiency. * Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities effectively. * High-level communication and interpersonal skills with tact and diplomacy. * Problem-solving skills and initiative to make sound decisions in day-to-day tasks. * Familiarity with or willingness to learn hospital administration systems (CIMHA, HBCIS, myHR, etc.). * Commitment to patient care and a respectful, inclusive approach to diverse individuals.
