Autogroup International is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join their team. Duties and responsibilities will include: Creating and refining designs for automotive systems and components Conducting testing and validation of automotive systems and components to ensure reliability, durability, and compliance with industry standards. Providing technical guidance to manufacturing teams during the conversion process and collaborating with suppliers and vendors. Ensuring all designs and components adhere to Australian Design Rules (ADRs). Agreeing upon and negotiating project budgets, timescales, and specifications with relevant departments, and tracking progress. Offering technical advice and responding to client queries. Organizing and conducting tests and addressing problems identified during testing. Participating in design review meetings to offer technical expertise and recommendations for improving designs and resolving engineering challenges. Utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create detailed technical drawings and specifications for automotive components and systems. Managing projects, including budgets, production schedules, resources, and staff, and supervising quality control. Required experience, skills and qualifications: Relevant bachelor degree or higher qualification At least 3 years mechanical engineering experience in Automotive industry Advanced communication skills - verbal and written Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
