Senior Full Stack AWS Software Engineer Location: Sydney (Hybrid / Remote options available) Contract: 12 months (with potential to extend) My client is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack AWS Software Engineer to design, build, and deliver high-quality software across our internal and customer-facing applications. This role will play a key part in modernising our digital platforms, working across Cloud, APIs, and event-driven architectures . You’ll join a collaborative, agile environment where your expertise in backend, frontend, and cloud-native development will help shape scalable, secure, and resilient solutions used across the agricultural industry. What You’ll Do Design and build event-driven microservices with Golang/Node.js, leveraging Kafka or AWS Kinesis . Develop secure RESTful APIs (Node.js, Kong Gateway, JWT/OAuth2) integrated with internal and external systems. Build cloud-native applications on AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, SQS, EventBridge). Implement frontend features with ReactJS , secure login (Auth0), and dynamic workflows. Create robust CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and security guardrails. Apply secure coding practices, RBAC, audit trails, and penetration test remediation. Ensure observability with CloudWatch, X-Ray, New Relic, structured logging. Lead and contribute to technical strategy and architecture decisions. Collaborate in agile squads, integrating seamlessly with backend, frontend, and platform teams. About You We’re looking for someone who brings strong technical depth, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Skills & Experience 5–8 years’ experience in software engineering. Proven expertise in AWS serverless, microservices, and event-driven architectures . Strong programming background in Node.js, Go, Typescript (bonus: .NET Core, C#). Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Snyk, Kong or similar).
