We are currently seeking a full-time Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our dynamic team based in Malaga As a Civil Engineering Draftsperson, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, design, and documentation of civil projects. Working closely with engineers and project managers, you will prepare detailed drawings and documentation for a range of civil infrastructure works. Key Duties and Responsibilities Preparing detailed drawings and plans for civil engineering works including roads, drainage systems, earthworks, subdivisions, and other infrastructure projects. Interpreting engineering sketches and specifications to produce accurate CAD drawings using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D. Collaborating with engineers to ensure designs are practical, compliant with standards, and meet project requirements. Reviewing and revising drawings based on feedback and project updates. Assisting in the preparation of documentation for approvals, tenders, and construction. Conducting site visits when required to gather data, verify drawings, and support construction teams. Ensuring all drawings and documentation comply with relevant Australian standards and local authority requirements. Maintaining and managing drawing files and documentation in an organised system. Requirements Relevant qualifications At least 2-3 years’ proven experience as a Civil Draftsperson, ideally in the civil construction or earthmoving sectors. Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D. Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical data and specifications. Knowledge of local council and Australian drafting standards. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
