About The Role Present a positive first impression of the restaurant's friendliness, presentation, and service Greet all guests upon arrival Manage the bookings diary Seat guests and explain the menu and concept Perform quality checks during guests' dining experience Farewell guests upon their departure Monitor the reservations system Take phone bookings and queries Provide quotes and organize details for group bookings About You Ideally a minimum of 1 year experience in a Host with Restaurant or event bookings responsibility Exceptional presentation and communication skills Passion for providing extraordinary service The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Embrace an upbeat, outgoing, and positive attitude Must be able to assist Guests and possess great Guest relations skills Ability to work effectively within a team Ability to effectively communicate on the telephone and by email Must possess attention to detail Previous experience with Open Table and Square POS an advantage.
