With close to three decades of experience servicing the corporate workplace sector throughout NSW, QLD and VIC, our client is going through an expansion phase in Melbourne and has created several new opportunities! You will ideally have 4 years of experience in the industry, although we encourage applications from those with 2 years and above, especially if you have a background in D&C environments or have worked on commercial spaces in an Interior Design consultancy. Essential Skills and Experience: Interior Design/Interior Architecture qualification 2 years of postgraduate experience in the local industry Previous involvement on commercial fitouts, including refurbs and revitalisations ranging from 250sqm-1000sqm Highly proficient on Revit, Enscape and Adobe Creative Suite Solid experience in documentation, joinery detailing, space planning, FF&E schedules Excellent verbal and written communication skills Communication focused with a solutions-oriented approach Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will be broad but strong documentation skills are essential, as the creation of drawings in Revit forms a vital aspect of this role. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with Senior Designers in presentation stages, liaise with suppliers and engage with the Project Management and Construction teams. Based on your strengths and skills, there is also the opportunity for you to be involved from initial client engagement, assist with the development of concepts in early design stages and/or lead smaller projects and client interactions.
