We’re representing a client delivering a high-rise Class 2 residential development in Chatswood. This is a key opportunity for a Project Engineer to be involved from structure through to finishes, working alongside an experienced delivery team. The Role As Project Engineer, you’ll support the Project and Site Managers across all stages of delivery. Your focus will be on program coordination, subcontractor management, and ensuring quality standards are consistently achieved. You’ll be a central point between the office and site, making sure documentation, reporting, and technical requirements are handled efficiently. Responsibilities Assist with the day-to-day coordination of construction activities across structure, services, and finishes Manage RFIs, ITPs, shop drawings, and quality documentation Monitor subcontractor performance and compliance with program and specifications Liaise with consultants, engineers, and suppliers to resolve technical issues Track and report on progress, cost implications, and risk items Support procurement, trade letting, and supplier engagement Ensure WHS, compliance, and QA processes are embedded throughout delivery Requirements 2–5 years’ experience as a Project Engineer or Site Engineer on multi-residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field Strong understanding of construction sequencing, building codes, and QA documentation Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating with consultants Proactive communicator with excellent organisational skills Location & Benefits Location: Chatswood, NSW Opportunity to work on a landmark Class 2 residential project Career progression into Project Management roles with the right performance For more information, contact Andrew in Fusion People
