ConsultANZ is looking for an accomplished Senior Project Engineer with proven expertise in pavement and road construction to join a leading national civil contractor headquartered in Sydney. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to take charge of major infrastructure works and lead the delivery of complex pavement projects across the region. About the Role Lead pavement and surfacing works on large-scale infrastructure and regional projects Provide technical guidance and leadership to engineering teams and site crews Oversee project planning including resources, labour, plant, and scheduling requirements Drive project delivery to achieve safety, quality, program, and budget targets Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards Manage budgets, track costs, and provide accurate financial forecasting What We’re Looking For 6–8 years’ experience in civil engineering, ideally focused on pavements and roadworks Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline Strong track record in successfully managing pavement projects from design to completion Previous experience with reputable civil, surfacing, or asphalting contractors Sound technical knowledge of pavement design, surfacing methodologies, material specifications, QA/QC, and site testing procedures Effective leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Practical, solutions-focused approach with the ability to excel in dynamic site environments What’s on Offer Attractive salary package: $120K – $140K Super Allowances (commensurate with experience) Long-term career progression with a respected national contractor The opportunity to work on high-value civil infrastructure and urban development projects A supportive, professional, and collaborative project environment where innovation and quality are highly valued APPLY NOW if interested, or email [email protected] to hear more about this opportunity.
