The Team: The Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) is undertaking a period of significant growth. Within the new CYMHS Extended Team there are three new programs areas: Out-of-Home Care Mental Health, Youth Forensic Mental Health and Youth Mental Health. These new programs are helping to increase access to complex mental health care for Tasmanians – and you could be a part of it! The Role: In this role you’ll provide high-level administrative support to a team of Allied Health, Nursing and Medical staff. This could include scheduling, taking minutes, organising events, and supporting other day-to-day tasks across CYMHS. The role is also responsible for aspects of information management and plays a crucial role in recording activity and outcome data. You will need: Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in contemporary office management practices, including knowledge of medical terminology or the ability to quickly acquire. Well-developed computer skills and organisational skills including ability to transcribe written and audio recorded information. Proven ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment, cooperating and working well with other team members in all CYMHS areas; respect the needs and ideas of others; provide support and assistance to team members, resolve conflicts, and appropriately share information with team members. Proven ability to provide leadership and training to other administrative staff, including mentoring staff with the ability to appropriately delegate responsibilities to ensure the development of administrative team members High-level written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders and consumers. Details of appointment: Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies. Salary: $73,811 to $79,779 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
