Project Engineer – Telecommunications (Fixed Networks) Wetherill Park, NSW OSOS Alliance , part of the PRM Management Group, is proud to partner with Ventia , one of Australia’s leading essential services providers. We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our client's, Fixed Networks Telecommunications team in Wetherill Park, NSW. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer looking to step up into project ownership, leading packages of work and driving delivery across major telecommunications projects. Key Accountabilities Safety & Environment Drive a strong safety culture, ensuring work safe processes and procedures are followed. Actively lead toolbox talks, pre-starts, and communicate lessons learned. Promote Ventia’s “Everyone Safe Every Day” safety initiative. Programme & Resource Management Monitor and lead construction execution, reporting delays and managing variations. Manage BOQs, ensuring alignment with CWPs and construction progress reports. Oversee timely delivery of Completion artefacts, CARs, and defect closures. Participate in Lessons Learnt and Innovation workshops, driving improvements. Finance Prepare and submit material orders and track reconciliation. Lead subcontractors claim reviews, ensuring substantiation for client handover. Work with Project Accountants and Supervisors to prepare monthly forecasts. Maintain alignment of costs across Novus, SAP, trackers, and registers. Quality & Contract Management Monitor and report on KPIs and lead indicators, recommending improvements. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and rights under the contract. Leadership, Culture & Values Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Mentor Site Engineers and junior team members. Promote a fair, ethical, and inclusive workplace culture. About You Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering (or related discipline). Strong experience across construction or infrastructure projects. Solid understanding of cost management and project finance principles. Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Index Match). Excellent communication and leadership skills.
