ABOUT THE COMPANY Lotus People are delighted to be partnering with a passionate and purposeful ophthalmology clinic based in Sydney’s North-West. Supporting five highly skilled eye doctors, the team aim to provide the highest level of patient care, across a range of surgical and treatment offerings. ABOUT THE ROLE As the part-time medical receptionist, this position will see the successful candidate acting as the face of the clinic (in conjunction with a Senior Medical Receptionist) – suited to a confident communicator with a patient-first approach, this role involves a high level of client interaction, using internal systems to effectively coordinate surgeries and bookings, and well as processing administrative tasks (e.g. payments) at the reception desk. DUTIES Greet and welcome patients with a professional manner Coordinate surgical bookings and enquiries via phone, email, and in-person Process payments and invoices via internal systems Maintain accurate patient records in line with the database Prepare patient charts and schedules in line with upcoming days THE IDEAL CANDIDATE Friendly and proactive in nature, with a customer-service mindset High attention to detail and strong written verbal communication skills Ability to work under pressure in a busy fast-paced environment Previous experience within front-facing customer service, reception, or administration Previous exposure to the healthcare or medical space is highly regarded!
