)A highly reputable national Tier 2 Contractor has appointed us to source a Design Manager for their Perth operation. This dynamic & multidisciplined Contractor has a solid pipeline of D&C infrastructure projects ranging from $20m – $100m across mining, infrastructure & maintenance contracts. As the Design Manager you will be head office-based and be responsible for managing and controlling the design during the Bid and ECI phases as well as the construction delivery. Duties will include; establishing and monitor design programs and documentation schedules, review early works tender packages, value engineering, propose alternatives design solutions, review design documentation, obtain client and authority approvals in accordance with the design management plan, regular liaison with the construction teams during delivery, design program reporting, design reports and optimise functionality/constructability/cost parameters. You must have a minimum of 5 years in a similar role for a Main Contractor and must have exposure on D&C projects on the contractor side. You MUST have the following to be considered: Minimum 2 years working for a Main Contractor recently Contracting experience on large-scale D&C NPI projects (eg.
