The Warehouse Team Leader plays a critical leadership role, responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing day-to-day operations in our Brookvale warehouse. They lead a team of approximately 10 warehouse team members to meet operational targets, uphold high customer service levels, and ensure safety, accuracy, and efficiency in every task. Key Responsibilities: Anticipate and coordinate daily and weekly warehouse workloads, including planning for deliveries, promotions, and seasonal volume. Lead weekly planning meetings with the Operations Manager to review workloads, systems, equipment, and training needs. Manage operational efficiency through clear task allocation, proactive monitoring, and adjustment of priorities as needed. Oversee and ensure adherence to Warehouse SOPs; review and update them regularly and ensure they’re understood by all team members. Monitor the flow of goods and stock control in collaboration with Procurement and Supply Chain Managers. Apply FIFO stock management principles and support all stock take and cycle counting activities. Identify and rectify discrepancies in stock movement and process issues; lead or support training where gaps are found. Maintain data integrity and ensure accuracy of processes to minimise technical errors and inefficiencies Coach, train, and support warehouse team members in procedures, systems, and equipment use. Support the wellbeing and performance of team members; notice and address team issues or development opportunities proactively. Experience Preferred: Demonstrated leadership ability with a team-first, proactive mindset. Experience in warehouse, logistics, retail, or team coordination roles (preferred but not essential). Strong communication skills and a passion for building and supporting teams. Ability to lead by example while managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment. Familiarity with warehouse systems (WMS), stock control, and digital tools. A strong alignment with our values and a desire to contribute to a purpose-led business.
