As part of our growing team, you’ll play a key role in building the infrastructure behind one of Australia’s most innovative fintech experiences. We’re looking for a talented DevOps/Cloud Engineer to help modernise and scale our cloud environment while pioneering AI-assisted DevOps practices that power our platform’s future. You'll join a tight-knit, collaborative engineering team spread between Perth and Croatia, supporting a growing group of software and data engineers. This is a unique opportunity to influence the evolution of our infrastructure and automation as we scale and modernize our platform. What You'll Do Modernize & scale our cloud environment: Support the renewal and optimization of our AWS infrastructure AI in DevOps: Help explore and activate the use of AI tools and techniques to improve our DevOps workflows Infra support & delivery: Own and support daily infrastructure requests and deployment workflows Project rollout: Work alongside engineers to support the rollout of new applications and services Best practice & automation: Build reliable, secure infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/OpenTofu) Collaboration: Communicate clearly with teammates across time zones and async environments What We're Looking For Must-Haves 2-4 years in DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Proficient with Docker and containerized development workflows Experienced in writing and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or OpenTofu Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, especially using GitHub Actions Solid Linux knowledge and scripting abilities in Bash and at least one of: Python, Go, TypeScript A security-conscious mindset when building and maintaining systems Strong written communication skills and comfort working async with remote teams Genuine interest in using AI to improve DevOps practices Nice-to-Haves Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) Exposure to Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Familiarity with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance practices Experience with ML infrastructure (SageMaker, model serving) Knowledge of data tools (Kafka, Airflow, Spark) Willingness to participate in on-call rotations Why Join Us?
