Full-time, Inner-City Brisbane based position – WFH options Leading Oil & Gas Contractor Long term Gas & Pipeline project Our client is one of Australia’s leading construction company’s specialising within the resource industry. They are currently delivering projects across Australia in water, renewables, and oil & gas. With a strong pipeline of work, they are currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Contractor Administrator for a long-term gas pipeline project in the Surat Basin region. This is a great opportunity for someone with an experienced QS/CA background to support the Commercial Manager, managing the commercial activities and costs on the project to ensure it is completed within its projected budget. While working closely with the Commercial Manager your role will include: Managing submissions and agreement of variations Preparation and submission of monthly progress claims Preparation of monthly cost reporting and forecasting Raise purchase requisitions/orders as approved within agreed authority limits Maintain commercial claims registers Liaise closely with Engineering team Administer subcontract and supply contracts Administer the head contract in accordance with its documented requirements Manage the commercial /contract aspects in compliance with company standards Contribute to the continuous improvement of Contracts Administration processes To be successful you must have at least 5 years project contract administration experience within civil construction, mining / heavy construction, and a proven track record of being able to deliver results. Relevant degree qualifications desirable in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar. A great opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Contract Administrator working on a long-term contract based in Brisbane, Monday – Friday, with the option to work from home 2 days a week.
