ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting into a passionate and experienced Payroll Manager, the Payroll Administration Officer seeks to contribute to the fortnightly pay run across the organisation (approx. 800 staff), as well as supporting with incoming employee queries relating to payroll. Suited to a keen administrator with a customer-focused mindset, this is a great opportunity for an individual wishing to grow and develop within their payroll skillset within a purposeful setting. The team are eager to train an individual up in the required skills, however previous payroll exposure is also a plus! DUTIES Support in the processing of fortnightly payroll across the organisation Process changes within the payroll system - such as new hires, variations, and terminations Act as a key point of contact for employees in relation to payroll queries Support the Payroll Manager and Payroll Coordinator with the preparation of reports, and special projects SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Previous experience within an administrative capacity Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and high attention to detail Willingness to learn and grow within the role Previous exposure to payroll is a benefit, but not a necessity for the right candidate The successful candidate must either possess a valid WWCC, or be willing to obtain one BENEFITS Join a passionate, purpose-led organisation and team, contributing towards making a difference in the lives of children!
