About the role DroneShield is seeking a Motion Graphic Designer with relevant experience to join the team in Sydney, Australia. The position will report to Marketing Team Lead. We are seeking a mid-senior level imaginative Motion Graphics Designer to join the Marketing Team. This role is responsible for developing compelling computer-generated (CGI) animations and cinematic visual content that brings our technology, products, and brand stories to life. The ideal candidate has a strong background in 3D animation, visual effects (VFX), and storytelling through motion. Responsibilities, Duties and Expectations Design and produce high-quality animated videos from concept to completion, including storyboarding, modelling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and compositing Collaborate with the creative, marketing, and product teams to translate complex ideas and product functions into engaging visual stories Work closely with scriptwriters, voiceover talent, and sound engineers to create polished final assets Maintain brand consistency while pushing visual creativity across multiple formats (social, web, trade shows, presentations Manage animation timelines and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects Qualifications, Experience and Skills Proven experience creating CGI/3D animated content (work in motion portfolio required). Minimum 5 years of experience Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g. Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, After Effects, Unreal Engine, Adobe Creative Suite, KeyShot) Strong understanding of motion design principles, lighting, camera movement, and visual storytelling Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
