Introduction Primary Function The Project Manager is responsible for retail project management and production; as well as quality control across the Retail Environment division for Cheil Australia. The Project Manager will be responsible for procurement, development and management of the supplier/vendor pool to deliver high quality and cost-efficient projects for our clients. Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with coordinators and senior project management in the development and delivery of production solutions across retail and brand experience projects Provide robust, creatively-sound production solutions for retail fixtures, retail display, retail fit-outs and store development projects - all delivered with executional excellence in given timeframes and budgets Responsible for retail project management Manage briefs by internal account team or directly from clients Organise vendor and create estimation to win the business opportunity Build, maintain and manage client relationships Initiate project with client briefing and organize team internally and with suppliers Present concept and cost to client Estimation for client and review estimations from vendors Negotiation of scope and cost Manage project in design, technical, procurement, production, logistics, installation and maintenance/operation Financial management of projects and overview of project profitability Qualifications and Experience Tertiary level qualification in Project Management or related field 5 years previous experience in a similar role, shop fitting industry or IT retail project management category Knowledge and expertise in IT/Telco retail ecosystem, shop design and production, project management, procurement and supplier management, etc. Experience in client service and relationship management Engineering/design background preferred General understanding of marketing comm. (Shopper, POSM, merchandising etc.) Good understanding of the shop fitting Industry and Retail POS Personal Attributes Strong motivation for business development Excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills
