About The Role This part-time position (0.32 FTE) is available for two days per week, Thursdays and Fridays, with an immediate start. In this role, you will play an important part in supporting student wellbeing and ensuring the smooth daily operations of a welcoming and inclusive school environment. Your responsibilities will include managing student services tasks such as late arrivals and early departures, compiling class rolls, and maintaining student development records. You will assist with preparing classroom resources, supervise sporting activities and school excursions as required, manage and stocktake equipment, and provide care for students in the sick bay, including administering first aid and responding to emergencies. This position requires close collaboration with staff and students and calls for empathy, confidentiality, and professionalism in all interactions. About You We're looking for someone who is: * Reliable, team player * Organised and detail-oriented * Experience in Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment * Willing to undertake training in first aid and health procedures * A strong communicator with a supportive approach to student care Your Responsibilities As the Teacher Aide, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: * Administering first aid and medication to students * Assisting with the development and implementation of student health plans * Responding to health-related emergencies * Monitoring and maintaining first aid supplies * Managing student attendance records and early/late departures * Maintaining accurate student information * Supporting classroom operations with resource preparation Please refer to the attached role description for the full list of responsibilities and mandatory requirements for this position.
