If you are a third or fourth year Light Vehicle Apprentice who is perhaps out of trade and would like to complete their apprenticeship with Work & Training to support you, we have a full time position available. What would this involve? You would be employed by Work & Training for the duration of your apprenticeship and hosted to our valued client in Hobart. You would be working full time hours. Theory training conducted by TasTAFE - about 6 blocks of training per year. You would receive mentoring and support throughout the apprenticeship. Gain valuable experience on the job: You will be involved in a variety of work including scheduled servicing, maintenance and repair of vehicles. If you have a genuine interest in mechanical technology, and have already completed two years of your qualification, this opportunity will be worth considering. This is a chance to demonstrate your ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, and hone your positive work ethic. Develop your capacity to follow procedures, instructions and safe work practices, and communicate in a professional manner within the work place. Essential Criteria: Manual Drivers Licence. Ability to follow Work Health & Safety requirements. Ability to work with oils, grease, petrol & diesel.
