THE COMPANY: This company is a well-established Media organization that delivers engaging content across Australia. They are currently looking to upgrade their infrastructure and modernize their IT services which serve as the backbone for the business. THE ROLE: As a Senior Storage Engineer, you 'll will be responsible for the day-to-day storage health, as well as involvement in designing and implementing new solutions across a variety of SAN products and Veeam backup solutions. This position will promote innovation whilst ensuring quality of data transmission is upheld, engaging across multiple teams to guide and assist in best practices. IDEAL CANDIDATE: Suitable for an Infrastructure engineer with a broad technical skillset, yet strong SAN storage and Backup solution knowledge who can guide and assist on design and implementation of Storage solutions and networking systems. Technical Experience: Strong knowledge of SAN products such as Dell PowerScale (Isilon), and PowerObject, 3Par, Nutanix, Brocade/Cisco switches. Comprehensive experience of OneFS administration, including SmartQuotas, SmartPools, SmartConnect, SyncIQ, SnapshotIQ, and Authentication (Active Directory/LDAP integration. Veeam backup solution experience and understanding of the various components. Extensive VMware experience -implementation, maintenance, admin etc Virtual networking knowledge Previous experience with Tape libraries Familiarity with Nutanix and exposure to cloud backup integration (Azure/AWS with Veeam or PowerProtect) Desirable certifications: Dell ISM (DCA-ISM), NCDA Veeam - VMCE ITIL framework AWS practioner This is a full time position working in the office on a hybrid basis located north of the Sydney CBD and is offering $145,000-160,000 plus super- depending on experience By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
