THE COMPANY: This company is a high-profile ASX-listed Financial Services firm who employ approx. 1400 staff. Their network delivers critical high availability, low latency solutions to customers in the financial trading space. They are undertaking major network transformation project that is one the most important in the company's history. You'll join a high-performing team with a family orientated culture and hybrid working. ROLE SNAPSHOT This is a project-focused Senior Network Engineer to get hands-on in the implementation of a large-scale end-to-end network transformation. This is a very high-profile project that will take place over the next 4 years. Hybrid working available. Responsibilities include: Implement and configure enterprise network infrastructure - Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto, Juniper, Ciena, F5, AWS / GCP etc. Deliver highly available, scalable, reliable, and secure network solutions. Delivery both data centre and public cloud network solutions that accommodate both present and future needs. Testing of network solutions / platforms. Extensive collaboration with various stakeholders across multiple streams - (technology & business stakeholders, external vendors etc) Actively contribute thoughts / ideas / recommendation around solution implementation and risk mitigation. Contribute to ongoing documentation. Datacentre attendance as needed. Hybrid working. REQUIRED BACKGROUND / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / PERSONAL QUALITIES Suitable for a hands-on Senior Network Engineer with proven experience delivering end-to-end HA large-scale network projects. Ideal for someone looking for a high-profile and challenging technical role inside a motivated and high-performing team with a family-oriented culture where they can grow long-term. The following is required: Extensive Network Engineering experience delivering/deploying end-to-end large-scale HA network projects - essential. Deep BGP & OSPF knowledge/experience - essential Multicast exp is highly beneficial. Multi-vendor experience e.g. Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto, Juniper, F5 etc Strong problem-solving skills project delivery experience. CCIE level knowledge. Competent understanding of security & risk management concepts. Collaborative team player capable of confidently communicating and voicing opinions in a respectful manner. Strong sense of ownership/accountability and focused on outcome delivery.
