Role Overview Gympie Regional Council currently has an exciting opportunity for an existing GRC employee who would like to join our professional Capital Delivery and Assets Branch on a full-time fixed term (6 months with the possibility of an extension). You will provide administrative support and services to the Capital Delivery and Assets Branch and customer contact support via telephone and email services. Deliver timely and accurate administration functions to meet the business needs of the Capital Delivery and Assets Branch Provide quality frontline customer service representing Council and the Branch in a positive and professional manner. Contribute to the daily operations of the Capital Delivery and Assets Branch responding courteously and efficiently to enquiries received in person, by telephone or email. Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of records pertaining to the Capital Delivery and Assets Branch. Resolve administrative problems, identify solutions and provide information to both internal and external customers within the level of responsibility. Develop and maintain positive professional relationships within the Capital Delivery and Assets Branch and across the organisation. To be successful, candidates will require: Demonstrated experience in providing administrative and project support. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and organise workloads to meet deadlines. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to support the delivery of the Branch’s priorities. Well-developed written and oral communication skills, including an understanding of the role of confidentiality within an administrative environment. Demonstrated customer service skills. High level of keyboard and computer skills Queensland ‘C’ Class driver’s licence that is current and maintained. Although not mandatory for the position, it would be advantageous for candidates to have previous demonstrated experience providing administration support in an Engineering/Civil Design environment.
