Period of Appointment Appointment to the role is on a permanent flexible basis (up to 73.5 hours per fortnight). Duties Undertake the day-to-day management of the Administrative Support team including supervising team members, allocating and prioritising tasks, managing performance, leave and employee development and driving a positive team culture. Oversee and support administrative activities undertaken by the team, including travel and training bookings, other purchasing and invoicing claims for damage from external clients administration of Development Applications triaging, logging and allocating queries resulting from telephone calls and emails from the public Contract administration of the State road, bridge and traffic signal call centre, including relationship management with the supplier, liaison between Tasmania Police, the internal client and various other internal parties. Produce effective written communication material for a range of audiences, including drafting of responses to: emails and web form submissions from the public claimants and internal stakeholders regarding claims for damage. Act as an escalation point for complex telephone calls from the public. Maintain Administrative Support processes and associated resources with a continuous improvement focus, including: the Transport Group induction and separation process the team’s customer service toolkit.
