Responsibilities and Duties The role involves the interpretation of architectural and engineering plans and transferring this information into our MiTek CAD software. It's from this 3D modelling software that we generate structural design of timber frames for residential housing. These designs are used by our production team, who will turn your work into real-life timber frames. You will also need to: Interpret architectural and engineering drawings for inputting into established computerised design systems to produce accurate detailed manufacturing requirements, which conform to Company and Australian Building standards. Maintain detailing output levels, which are acceptable in terms of accuracy, volume and timeliness (in accordance with production schedule). Maintain liaison with customers either directly or through sales personnel to ensure customer satisfaction with finished product. Learn Mitek programs and all facets of products as directed by the company. Regardless of your experience level, you will be fully trained by our skilled and experienced staff.
