Job Description Our client is a family owned electrical contractor based in Brisbane’s outer Northern suburbs. Specialising in general electrical, residential, rural and light commercial work, they have built a strong reputation amongst the community as a trusted and reliable service provider. As the business continues to expand there is an opportunity for an experienced, A-Grade Electrician to join the team. The Position This opportunity will see you become an integral part of this small business, working autonomously and in a team environment, your focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service whilst ensuring a high standard of work. This position will see you undertaking a wide range of duties such as: Power and lighting installations and upgrades; New build homes and residential renovations Rural work, including pump repairs Property pole installations Air Conditioning installation and some solar installations Provide technical support to customers Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues This is a permanent, full time career opportunity. Remuneration will comprise of a negotiated hourly rate, brand new company vehicle, mobile phone and company uniforms. The Candidate This is a diverse role that will see you working both autonomously, in a team environment and at times responsible for supervising the apprentice. The suitable candidate will demonstrate a friendly disposition and a “get in and get the job done” attitude. Along with experience across the domestic sector, you will also hold the following skills and attributes: Current QLD Electrical Licence Current QLD Drivers Licence Construction Industry White Card Current CPR/LVR Previous experience using Servicem8 is an advantage Strong analytical and problem solving skills Demonstrated knowledge of Industry Standards, Safe Work Practices and OHS&E Procedures.
