We're working with a growing tech consultancy looking to expand its cloud team in Melbourne. They’re currently looking to hire a Cloud Operations Engineer with solid experience, ideally in GCP cloud infrastructure, but AWS and Azure are also possible as long as you are open to upskilling in GCP. About the Role You’ll play a key part in designing, implementing, and managing core cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on networking and security. This is a hands-on role where you'll help shape scalable, secure, and reliable cloud environments. Key Responsibilities Build and manage foundational GCP services: VPC, IAM, Compute, GKE Develop and maintain secure cloud networking infrastructure Champion and implement cloud security best practices Automate infrastructure using tools like Terraform What They're Looking For 3 years of professional experience in cloud engineering Strong knowledge of foundational services across AWS, Azure and/or GCP Solid understanding of cloud networking and security principles A team player who thrives in collaborative environments Confident communicator with a consultative mindset Someone proactive, practical, and focused on continuous improvement
