RM Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a leading Civil Construction company in the water treatment sector, you will play a key role in commissioning mechanical and poly pipeline constructions. Working across the water industry consisting of pumpstations and reservoirs with kilometers of pipework. Your responsibilities will span across Quality Control ITP (Inspection and Test Plan) monitor materials, MDR’s (Manufacturing Data Reports) and workmanship to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications. Communicate with design engineers and clients when necessary to ensure successful construction and commissioning of water treatment facilities and related pipeline construction . The salary for this position is paying up to $150k, there is an onsite company car when needed, salary is based on experience. Work is based on the Sunshine Coast. Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Experience in civil and mechanical construction, ideally focused on water or wastewater treatment plants, pipelines, or municipal infrastructure. Strong knowledge of pipeline design ,mechanical design and quality assurance. Proficient in using design and drafting software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or similar) Solid understanding of material and design standards .
