Responsible for undertaking and providing high level support for strategic health service business development and planning activities including identifying and addressing critical service gaps and supporting the delivery of efficient, effective, integrated and patient centred remote health and primary care services across the Northern Territory. Occasional travel may be involved which may include by light aircraft or 4WD. Selection will be made at the SAO1, SP1 or N6 level depending on the experience/qualifications of the successful applicant. Whilst a postgraduate qualification is an essential requirement for ongoing appointment to this vacancy, all applicants will be assessed. If the most suitable applicant does not hold the qualification, they may be appointed on a fixed basis with ongoing appointment subject to attaining the qualification during the fixed term.
