We need you to have strong problem-solving skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills, the ability to meet the challenges of working in a demanding work environment to be able to manage the Board's legal services unit with the capability and capacity to represent, prepare court documents, instruct counsel and personally appear for complex Board matters. Your day to day will be ensuring the Legal Services Unit supports the Board through the provision of expert legal advice to the Board in relation to complex legal matters including parole applications for restricted prisoners, prisoners subject NBNP or Terrorism links, and you'll be providing leadership and management to the Board's legal services unit to ensure compliance with professional and corporate obligations.
