DHA provides housing related services advising on eligibility, providing posting support, and managing bookings and allocation services for all DHA provisioned housing and on-base accommodation to approximately 60,000 ADF members. The key duties of the position include About your team Business Solutions and Technology (BS&T) are responsible for all software related business analysis, business solutions, software development, telephony, IT services, infrastructure and cyber security. We deliver business as usual activities and innovation driven initiatives that provide efficiencies to the broader organisation. About the role The Data Operations Platform Engineer will be responsible for the functionality and reliability of the organisation's IT infrastructure, which includes Linux operating systems, databases, storage, and backup systems. The role is diverse involving general systems administrations, applying security best practices to maintain Essential 8 compliance, and to monitor and maintaining capacity and performance. You will be required to work closely with our IT Operations infrastructure engineers, security teams, and other IT professionals to ensure adherence to Change and Release Management best practices.
