Design, build, and manage data pipelines that ensure critical product and operational data is reliably integrated into our data platform Develop and maintain canonical datasets that enable the business to track key metrics such as patient engagement, clinic growth, and platform usage Work closely with Engineering, Product, Growth, and Finance to understand data needs and deliver scalable solutions Implement robust and fault-tolerant systems for data ingestion, transformation, and monitoring Participate in architectural and engineering decisions that shape the evolution of HotDoc’s data platform Uphold strong standards for data security, privacy, and compliance with healthcare regulations Contribute to a culture of learning and high-quality engineering by mentoring others and sharing best practices What you must have to apply for this role 5 years of experience in data engineering or software engineering with a strong data focus, , or demonstrated equivalent professional experience in a comparable role Strong skills in SQL and data modeling, with experience using tools like dbt Proficiency in Python and familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift) Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams including Product, Growth, and Engineering Demonstrated ability to ship production-grade data pipelines with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability You’re just the person we’re looking for if you can demonstrate that A socially conscious mindset with a desire to contribute to positive change in the Australian healthcare patient experience.
