Geelong Grammar School, Toorak, currently seeks a suitably qualified, experienced, and driven Contemporary Vocal Music Tutor. The role and function of the Music Tutor is to plan and deliver engaging and considered individual music lessons to students from Prep to Year 6. This is a casual contract for approximately one day per week. About you: Ideally, the successful candidate will meet the following criteria: Tertiary Music qualification – Jazz/Contemporary Voice Experience teaching within a school music program A proven record of excellence in tutoring and performance skills gained through training or experience A dynamic manner with the ability to relate well to students of all abilities and to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff Participation in rehearsals, concerts, and Music events Ensemble direction and conducting skills will be considered advantageous A current Victorian WWCC (Employment) and a National Police Records Check Geelong Grammar School is committed to the safety of all students and has a zero tolerance of student abuse.
