Administrative Officer - Practitioner Authorisation — Brisbane, Brisbane Region

What you'll do Your role as the Administrative Officer - Practitioner Authorisation role is to provide highlevel administrative and coordination support to the Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) Unit, with a primary focus on managing the VAD practitioner authorisation process. This role ensures the timely, accurate, and compliant assessment and documentation of practitioner applications, provides secretariat support to the Queensland Health VAD Practitioner Eligibility Panel, and acts as a key liaison for internal and external stakeholders. The position contributes to the overall governance, integrity, and efficiency of the VAD practitioner authorisation framework within Queensland Health. About you We are searching for someone who has: * Demonstrated ability to prioritise work and work effectively and autonomously while remaining flexible to respond to changing needs in a politically sensitive environment. * Demonstrated ability to follow general office procedures and use a wide range of computer programs and applications. * Experience providing high level administrative support. * Ability to work as a team member with a high level of autonomy to manage your daily workloads and achieve the goals of the branch.
