Sales & Customer Engagement - Energy Sector (6-Month Contract) Location: Southbank, Melbourne (Hybrid - mostly in office, WFH available after training) Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday Contract Type: 6-month hourly-paid contract Rate: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience Are you confident on the phone and energised by meaningful conversations with business customers? A global leader in low-carbon energy and services, is looking for an outgoing and driven individual to join their Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Sales team. About the Role This is not your typical sales job. You'll be reaching out to business customers from an existing database, aiming to re-engage and qualify potential new clients. The focus isn't about pushing contracts-it's about understanding each business's broader energy needs, including sustainability goals and procurement strategies. Key Responsibilities Make outbound calls to business customers with a warm, consultative approach Qualify interest based on energy usage, green ambitions, and contract timing Overcome initial objections and open the door for further discussions Capture key customer information and pass qualified leads to senior sales What We're Looking For Previous experience in sales or a phone-based customer-facing role A confident communicator who thrives in outbound calling environments Ability to engage customers in strategic conversations, not just sell on price Comfortable working independently and resilient in handling rejection Why Join?
