A leader in their field, our client is looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to join their infrastructure platforms team on an initial 6 month contact. The role Playing a pivotal role, you'll work to deliver on a network security strategy which enables peer infrastructure and broader technology teams to work seamlessly. Provide management, development and support of Network Security platforms including Firewall, Proxy, Application Load balancing, IPS, IPSec and Encryption systems. Identify and build tools (self-service, automation) to help with continuous delivery, continuous development, and security based Devops (SecDevOps). Manage daily operations of our on-premise and cloud-based platforms. Experience You will have broad experience across the following products: Firewalls/IPS - Palo Alto Networks Load Balancing & Application Firewall – F5 Cloud WAF / DDOS/ CDN Services Web Proxy Services – Netskope IPSEC B2B VPN – Cisco ASA In addition, you'll have: Understanding of Cloud Web Services – AWS, Azure. Knowledge of the OSI layers and good troubleshooting skills up to an application level with a proven ability to analyse packet captures Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability work cross-functionally.
